Great screencast! I've been looking for a painless way to get myself into Git and that's what I was just looking for. I am going to start using Git right now. Thanks and good luck with Technicasts.

Thanks Carlos! I've got a lot planned for both FOSSCasts and Technicasts :)

You mention in this screencast that Git support on Windows isn't very good. I can say from firsthand experience that this used to be true. However, I recently tried Git on Windows again and was surprised to find that it now works very well (though it is considerably slower on Windows than on Linux). Even gitk and git-svn worked just fine. It appears as though Git on Windows has improved dramatically over the last 6-12 months.
